Global Human Resources
As corporations expand their focus towards international business opportunities, Human resource departments are expected to support that business growth by providing qualified talent and the benefits that support the international workforce.
SHRM has been committed to support its members with International Human Resource (IHR) programs to help prepare IHR professionals with the information and knowledge they need to manage global growth. In New Jersey our Garden State Council and member chapters are addressing the IHR growth needs of our members by offering quarterly IHR special Interest group (SIG) meetings that focus on IHR trends Challenges and solutions. The SHRM Morris County Chapter is adding to this initiative by providing our members with monthly website content that is geared toward Global Human Resources. Watch this page on a regular basis for new monthly content.
The Quarterly IHR SIG meetings provide a forum where IHR practitioners can meet to informally discuss IHR trends, Challenges and solutions. Anybody who is a SHRM member and is a practicing HR professional who currently manages an IHR program or is interested in learning more about International Human Resource is welcome to join this IHR SIG.
